My question is i am eligible to receive Gratuity from the school.
If Yes then please let me know the gratuity calculation formula.

My friend has got a very good offer from a top company which is ready to buy back his notice period of 3 months in his current MNC. But, the problem is he can serve only two months notice period here after that he should join the new company. His manager is ready to relieve him after transition but only the HR are creating the issue telling that remaining 1 month should also be served even if he completes transition and are not accepting for a buy back. They are literally telling him to leave that offer which is a turning point of his career. Since we common people do not know the labour laws we are being harassed. Please help us with a solution. He is under financial pressure so cannot leave the new offer. Please help us immediately.. we are suffering. How can they Harrah's the person and stop him from moving up in his profession and they are not ready to give that compensation to retain him..

My father deceased on duty when I was in third year of engineering in 2012. Me being elder son applied for CG appointment when I was informed to apply/submit application along with graduation certificate which I did on 2013. Since I was an engineering graduate the appointment was seeked and approved for JE/SSE grade. But I was made to wait till April 2015 to attend for "interim appointment" untill JE exams are called for. I qualified for TECH III on basis of my 10th as highest education?!.and joined Railways as trainee tech III. But the shocking part was I was asked to train for 3 years in interim itself without any allowances and benefits except 'basic+da'. But, the mechanical engineering/diploma/ITI holders are asked to train only for 6 months. But, RRB considers any DIPLOMA/ENGINEERING holders as technical expertee in their relevant field and offers jobs as JE/SSE/DMS/CDMS posts on basis of any branch of engineering graduation is completed in!
This is 2017 april and im yet to attend my promised JE/SSE exam and continuing my career as trainee tech III for 3 years training without actual benefits as normal employee but have to work a work equal to an SSE in my allotted inspection section at Mysore Workshop. Have tried alot to enquire this issue, demand for exam finally or reduce my training period atleast so that I can atleast use minimal benefits as a normal employee.. No use. No one is helping me at office. How to deal with this 4 year delay!

In cases of some employees of PSUs , gratuity is held up at the time of retirement due to some pending cases with outside agencies like CBI etc.,But it seems SC has held that an employee against whom some criminal or departmental inquiry is pending is entitled to receive gratuity up to the year of committing the offence immediately at the time of retirement and the balance after the proceedings are over and the employee is acquitted - Is it true?

Respected Experts, I am working on contractual basis in a power plant nearby Nagpur since 5 years. Now, I wants to switch this job, but whenever I spoke to my company side contractual engagement officer about my experience letter, He straight forward denies saying that you should take it from your contractors, and unfortunately I have only joining letters from my main company and from each contractor under whom I have worked till date, I also have my salary statement of more than 1 years (there is no salary slip as I am getting paid via: Cheque) Please suggest me a legal and genuine way through which I can prove my this long experience during next employment procedure because fearing by this I am not applying to any job confidently. Even I have given them a hint of taking legal action they said me, "You will not at all get anything from us even your salaries and will be terminated" if you even thought about taking legal action. I am very poor and of course its a rich organisation by which i can not fight on financial basis.
Recently received my PF withdrawal amount, which consisted of employee share & employer share only.....pension fund was not considered for withdrawal. My total service tenure was 8.5 years. Is myself eligible for withdrawal of pension share ?? If yes , pls guide me the procedure for withdrawal of the same.
