respected sir,
me & my husband did court marriage before 2 years. but till the date my husband cannot expose me front of society & his family as a wife. my husband family ask my family first you give dowry of 15 laks then we will do marriage as per society. if i asked about my marriage to husband he did mentally harrashment. now his family ready to do again marriage of my
husband. he is also ready to do marriage. his family told first u give dowry then we will accapt u. all family member harrash me. please somebody advice me what will i do????????

Is it required for a private complainant to have an advocate to represent before the Magistrate.
Is it possible to hire a lawyer after accused are summoned. At what stage advocate representation becomes crucial.
Please clarify.

What is mean of Life Time Imprisonment under IPC? Whether It is 14 years or for life time untill his death in the jail?
One more, is it right to calculate 12 hrs a day/some leave consider while a person passing the time for a offence. (i.e. if a person get jail for 2 years than for what effective period he/she will spend time in jail whether it would be 2 years or less than 2 years)

i had hired a driver to take my wife to her office in delhi as she is suffering from high sugar and back problem. i reside in ghaziabad U P. on the second day,i.e.on 5th of may, while coming back from office, a high speed mobike struck the car in the front right wheelin U P. impact was so hard that the axle of the car like indica was broken. the boy riding the bike suffered multiple fracture in left leg and was taken to a hospital in delhi. my driver ran away from the site. unfortunately the insuarance of the car has also expired. what will be the action and what should i do. still no report has been filed as the boy is in hospital.my car and mobike are in police custody.

sir, 498a case acquited in metropolital court (trail court) is it possible to appael against acquital apply to addl session court instead of high court in bangalore for appeal 1.lawyers tell yes i.e complainant take pp permission and apply with private lawyer to appeal as appeal section is amended 2.some lawyers tell no it is state case pp as to give merits for appeal to law dept and finally law dept proceed to high court for appeal which is correct

dear sir,
my son's engagement was done 16 months before. During this period, on many occasion, we found that girl is not suitable for our home-in nature, in thoughts and in actions-reactions on different situation. In fact we fixed the marriage date also. But a couple of days back, she again raised some issue. This was limit for us. so we broke the relation. Now her parents are threatening us that they will send gundaas to our house, they go to media, they will give this in news paper to defame us.
in which law (criminal or family law) they can proceed for legal action. To broke the engagement is it a crime ? (2) against their threat, can we file a police complain ?
pl. guide me , what to do ?

F.I.R. and Chargesheet
Sir, My question is what will happen when a person gets bail in a bailable offence from court because FIR is in bailable section, but police summits chargesheet in non-bailable offences. Will accused have to surrender and get fresh bail or will he continue to enjoy the the previledge of bail?
Please provide case law and details.
