MY FRIEND RAGINI IS IN A BIG PROBLEM i.e., HER BROTHER AND MOTHER HAD A HUGE AMOUNTS OF DEBTS AROUND 40 LAKHS ... AND THEIR PROPERTIES WOULD BE AROUND 20 LAKHS ..THEY HAD PAID LOTS OF INTEREST ...NOW THEIR FAMILY CANNOT REPAY THE MONEY AS THERE IS NO SOURCE OF INCOME...AND ALSO THEY TOOK MONEY FROM DHADAS ..SO ITS REALLY A HELL FOR THEIR FAMILY ..I AM ADVICING THEM TO APPLY FOR INSOLVENCY PETITION ATLEAST FOR TEMPORARILY DISCHARGING THEIR TENSIONS...IS THAT WOULD BE HELPFUL FOR THEIR FAMILY???WHAT ARE THE DISADVANTAGES FOR FILING INSOLVENCY PETITION LET ME KNOW PLEASE ??

Dear friends,
A Ltd is importing some FMCG products in India from various countries and selling them under its own registered trade/brand name.
A ltd is approcahed by a customer in Nepal for sale of A's products in A's brand name in Nepal.Goods to nepal party will be supplied by the suppliers directlt and some produicts will be supplied by A ltd from India.
For this purpose if I make two agreements namely :
1. Distributorship agreement between A Ltd and Nepal customer under which A ltd will grant duitributorship and right to use the brand name of A ltd.
2. A supply agrement between the suppliers and Nepal parties with all terms and conditions of sale/supply incldung rates/payment terms etc.
Are the above agreement alegally valid and bining or there should be some different modes operaendi/agreements to give effect to the above transaction.
Plesae revert your views on urgent basis.

Hi,
Can a cooperative society be formed with a sole intention of investing in share market, commodity market and govt. bonds (keeping some money as cash reserve too), and returning the profit to its members in the form of dividend. Obviously the loss and profit will be shared equally among its members just like a mutual fund, but my query is, Is this kind of business model acceptable for a Cooperative Society to have, and if yes then under which category of society (urban credit, salary t/c, multipurpose society etc...).
I'm from New Delhi and intended to form one with above business model.

My JCB machine had got stolen on 16/10/2010. I had filed a claim with the insurace company and since then I have been running from pillar to post to get my righful claim.
Insurace company had sent me a pre repudiation letter last week and they have mentioned basesless and bogus reason on it.Though I am not able to understand that why they have sent this letter and even the content of this letter is very contradictory .
There is one interesting this in this letter ===>>
Due to above shortcomings/non-compliances the claim doesn’t seem to fall in the preview of condition for settlement. We would like to have your comments within a fortnight of the receipt of this letter to enable us to take further action in respect of your claim failing the same we will presume that you have no comments to offer.
Please note that company reserves its right to add further grounds of repudiation if they subsequently come to the knowledge of company. Please note that no further communication in connection to the present claim would be entertained.
In last paragraph they are saying that no further communication would be entertained and in another they are saying they would like to hear back my comments. :D...is this some kind of joke?
Please help me.... Can I file a special leave petition in Supreme court in this case?
