Law Practice

Even with the advent of IT and latest developments in the Computer field, our learned brothers in the legal fraternity still shy away from using such channels for Law Practice for obvious reasons. Though forum like Lawsclubindia provides ample opportunity for the advocates to openly interact and participate in the queries related to recent trends in the field, but for few in the Hall of Fame, the desired results are not encouraging on the long run. I sincerely appeal to our brethren actively involved in the profession to come forward and share their experience and expertise in this forum which would serve as a great boon to the student community who are aspiring to become Top Lawyers in the country. We have been deprived by such facilities in our students days. But all students and lawyers should keep the thread going in a big way to keep abreast with the latest developments and trends in the profession. Participation in healthy debates also amount to virtual law practice. Please attach wide publicity about this forum in all communication channels. Thank U friends.

I get that affidabvit arranged and they easily provided me the complaint copy.

Now my quest is that is it mendatory in all cases including cognigable , non-cognigable or lost cases the complaint need to have affidavit or not..

Deemed university matter

Hi,
I am student of MBA. My college is one of the popular college and college having good quality education and world class infrastructure college provide it’s Post graduation programme and the MBA degree from Vinyaka university (Deemed). One of the News paper is directly attacking on college and trying to harm the college image in public, by giving the News in front page. News paper Publish “ NOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH STUDENT’S FUTURE?” We all know what the education minister said. We the student are affecting very badly by this kind of news rather than the deemed university problem.
Please tell me
1. Can we stop that news paper’s editor to giving the news against the college?
2. Can we pull him (editor) in court?

IT and Law

Lawyers in our country still adopt traditional methods in Law Practice without getting embraced to the latest developments in Information Technology. That is why we are witness to non-disposal of cases in the courts and accumulation of huge backlog. Filling up of vacancies in the Judiciary cannot be the only solution to put fast tracks in place. Administration of Social Justice in toto could be reality only when our profession gets married to IT. Why can't IT become a part and parcel of academic curriculum in our Law Colleges. When a young lawyer is proficient in computers, it not only saves him lot of time to eliminate all manual dependence but also helps to focus on the job professionally. I invite every lawyers to join this debate.
