I got IEC and imported the cosmetics on the code which was addressed to My name as properitor and myhome address as my address. Now the goods are here and the CHA/transporter asking my Vat no. which I dont have. does it makes illegal to bring the items cleared from the customs to chandigarh from delhi( address on the shipment is of chandigarh and custom clearance is done at delhi). If i apply for a vat no. it requires a firm name and address(commercial). Can i get vat no. on my name as in My IEC code. If the address different does it create any problem for releasing the goods through states barrier?
can i get vat no on different address than my IEC code make any difference as I am the owner of the both.
Pls advice i still have goods in delhi and never moved them from there.
Waiting for the experts comments

A company opens a trust. Expenses of such trust is borne by the company. Such trust is meant for promoting the industry , of which such company is a part.
Can such trust apply for 12A/80G. If it gets it anyway, does the expenses borne by company of such trust suddenly reduce to 50% allowable? Also is payment to such trust by company is revenue expenditure?

I and my spouse purchased a Flat in Gurgaon 6 years back. The share of spouse money mainly came through as a gift from our NRI son.He further gifted substantial amount of gifts after tis purchase. The cost of the flat was Rs 40 lacs.We have 2 married daughters, who are also NRIs.There was a rift and though family settlment on stamp paper of Rs 100/, it was settlled that the ownership of Gurgaon Flat be passed on to our son and his spouse. The agreement is witnessed by our daughters and signed by us,son and his spouse.
We were getting a monthly rent of Rs 23000/.Pl confirm that Tenant and Income Tax Authority will consider rent income of my son and his spouse after the execution of this deed.As my kids are abroad, the settlement deed has not Civil Court Authorisation.Pl guide with Case History, if any.

Excess service tax is collected and deposited to goverment. Now client wants that excess payment back. What is the remedy? Also note , the client himself does not provide any taxable service.
Further how long this adjustment can be made?
Fake notice issued by income tax officer.
Sir, i had received a fake notice issued by income tax officer stating that your cases had been fixed by CESS.
Please, suggest few remedies.
Fake in the sense that case in not fixed by CESS but the officer himself had selected and the notice reflects that the case is selected by CESS.
