We are an upcoming chain of preschools and have franchisees in Mumbai, Navi-Mumbai & Thane; and expanding further. We take one-time franchise fee of Rs. 3.00 lacs. Our franchisee agreements are on Rs. 100 stamp paper.
Is this enough or should we notarize/register the agreement? Whats are the charges toward notarizing/stamp duty+registration of the agreement? What are the benefits of registering the agreement?

1970s we had a business land, which we sold a person,
Later he has sold it third person and then to forth person.
In 1998 we bought the same property from that 4th person.
Now in 2018, we received a court notice, stating they have some document showing our property under mortgage in 1977...
Could Someone please
What is the best way to solve the issue as quick as possible.

Hi Experts, I stay in a cooperative society in Powai, Mumbai. The flat is owned by one of my father's very close friend who expired last year, and his wife (Aunty) is the current owner. Their kids stay in USA so Aunty spends 10-11 months each year in USA, and spends 1-2 month each year with us and stays in her same flat with us as a family member. We do not have a commercial rent agreement as of now and have no plans to make one. The society is pressing and saying I have to produce a rent agreement, and that they'd impose fine on me if I don't produce one. They have already taken away the covered parking but allowed to park my car in an uncovered parking slot subject to payment of Rs 1000 (same amount charged from tenants). What should I do? How do I inform the society that I not a tenant? I wrote a letter myself and from the owner Aunty to the society, but society is not accepting it as proof.

Sir, I got a cheque on 30.12.2017, and it was dishonoured with a return memo on 28.02.2018, I issued statutory notice on 27.03.2018, but with one digit wrong cheque number.
The thing is I have no limitation to present the cheque again before the bank, to create a fresh cause of action, as 3 month time is finished. but the Cheque number mentioned in the legal notice is wrong. so what can I really do to proceed criminally and not by way of filing money suit?
I found something called "correction notice," if it is available, what is the limitation to send a Correction notice to the accused?
What if I take a defence that the notice is not the one I sent? by submitting a corrected office copy of legal notice?

Hi,
I have a property in Delhi which I agree to sell last week.
Now without signing any agreement as of now, the potential buyer gave me Rs.1 lakh as token money and now demanding the Xerox copies (Marked Crossed) of the property as he wants to make a Bayana.
I want to know is it legally right to handover the documents or should I refuse and tell him that until Bayana is signed and we get atleast (10%) of the total sum as insurance, we won't be handing over anything to him ?
Please guide me through this process.
