Dear seniors,
There is a partnership deed between X Pvt Ltd company and two individuals and they have formed a FIRM. The X Pvt Ltd company transferred some of it's property (moveable & Immoveabel) in favour of the FIRM vide a Board Resolution. And the other two individuals also transferred some of their properties (moveable)in favour of the FIRM.
1.Whether the transfer by the X pvt ltd (one of the partner) would attract Stamp Duty and registration?
2. Whether the transfer by the individual partners would attract Stamp Duty and registration?
Thanks in advance

i have a question on will,in a case a died living his two sons and two daughters and his wife and a will saying that his property should be transfered to his wife after his death.one daughter appeals for partition of the agricultural land ,the will was signed by the two witness who are his brothers in law and one of them write the will as he stated,the question arise here that can a writer of will be witness or can a witness of will can write the will.please provide me right guidance and where can i get the leading cases regarding this matter.
futher to a few questions i have already asked, i would like an answer to a question regarding succession certificate, does one have to pay a fee for the certificate in case of immovable property? if so how much is the fee , and is it a percentage of the value that the plot of land was bought at , or current market valuation. to make things clear, it is not a house but a plot of land for building a house which is currently lying vacant. what is the normal time frame involved if there are no objections.
Thanks in advance for your help
My brother has given a durable power of attorney to my Aunt who lives in India , as he is an American citizen but of Indian origin (PIO), subsection vii of the PoA states -:
{Legal and administrative proceedings - to engage in any administrative or legal proceedings or lawsuits in connection with any matter herein}
we need to submit an application in the court that there are no legal heirs to our mothers assets apart from me and my brother , can my aunt sign this document on his behalf as she has his PoA or does it have to be signed by my brother?
will the courts accept the letter considering she holds his power of attorney to act on his behalf on legal matters ?
Thanks for your help
