My son is using only one word name. no surname. birth certificate, x clss, Intermediate, B.Tech, PAN card, Election Card, passport are all issued in one word name, with out a surname.
This use of single word name is deliberate and not a mistake.
Now he is applying for higher studies abroad. now they want a surname every where. Every application is asking for a surname.
Can he take a surname now. can he take a very meaningful word as a surname.

Respected sir,
My passport was issued from Patna office of Bihar in 1999. I am living at Jharkhand, which was Bihar then. Now it has been expired. There is no change of address. From where(Bihar i.e. Patna Office or Jharkhand i.e. Ranchi office) it will get renewed? what is the procedure of renewal? Thanks to all.

Please let me know as to what is 'revalidation of stamp paper or stamp duty' . I understand that if an agreement is on a lesser value of stamp paper than required by law, then it can be revalidated at the time of filing of the suit. How much penalty does it attract? Thanks.

Dear sir/madam
A registerd partnership firm was having 4 partners A B C D..in 2004 partners C & D signed a document retiring them from the partnership.
how ever the date was not put upon the retirement deed and partners C & D continued as the partners of the firm upto 2009..now C & D want to continue as partners of the firm...A & B put the date of 2009 on the retirement deed and want to retire them.
Can partners C & D challenge the validity of the document as it was signed in year 2004 and the date was put on year 2009 .
Ques1 Is the retirement deed invalid?
Ques2 Will the presenting of such a deed fall under fraud or forgery?

P.F Withdrawal
Dear Sir,
My Name is praveen i have been working for a term of 4 years for a company after that i have left that company, this was in the year Oct-2004. Due to uncertenity (i was out of Town) i could not submit my P.F .Now i have sent my P.F papers through proper channel from the company's HR.But the P.F office has put some obligations such as:-
1.Signatue mismatch
2.Request to submit affidavit cum Indeminity bond for delay in submission.
Sir i request you what is the format for submiting the same and i will be thankful if you can sujest me the way out of this problem.
