Different names on different documents

Dear Experts,

My mother has two names. One is her maiden name (eg. Cathy Smith , she is not an indian by birth) and when she moved to india with my father, his family called her by an indian name (eg. Savita Naik)

So now she has two sets of documents.

Under maiden name she has the following:
Birth Certificate
Marriage Certificate
Passport
OCI (overseas citizen of India card)

Under Indian Name :
Ration Card
Adhaar card
Pan Card
Bank Accounts
Property

My father is no more, and we dont have any legal document stating the Indian name was changed legally. I think they just started using her indian name and applying for documents.

I would like to change this and get all her documents to her maiden name.
Is that possible? How can I go about it?

I am applying for her visa abroad, and I am worried these name inconsistencies will cause her visa to be rejected.

Please advice.

About Birth Certificate

Hello Team,

My birth year is 1987 and my older sister birth year is 1985. My birth record was not recorded at the time of my birth in gram panchayat and my parents are not educated and at the time of my school admission, my parent put my birth year as 1985 (on documents, i am older that my sister by 8 day). Now i want my birth certificate with my actual birth year. I have birthday certificate of my sister. How can i get the same. What would be the procedure to get the birth certificate.

Thanks in Advance

Altering legal document

After a sale agreement is signed by both the parties and later the buyer intentionally modify one of the clause of the agreement by adding a handwritten line behind that clause for his benefit without the consent of the seller.

Will this act be considered a fraudulent act or criminal act.

Typographical error found post-notarisation of affidavit

The Affidavit has been duly notarised with required compliance to the Notaries Rules(along with seal and signatures as per Section 8(2) of notaries act). But after that, we found that there was an error in the affidavit. So we corrected it in pen, and the same Notary stamped/sealed it after verifying. However, he did not sign or write his initials on this stamp/seal. Does that pose a problem?

Also, does it make a difference if this change in affidavit is big or small(as long as it has the seal of notary)?
