Hi,
Limitation act applies to Arbitration and hence 3 years period from the date of agreement/payment/acknowledgement etc.

Three years from the execution of agreement/last payment as per Article137 of Limitation Act.

I have noted that some lawyers choose to escape the answer by simply presuming that the question is academic and hence doesn't deserve the reply.This is not fair. After all, the forum has been provided to address the inquisitiveness of the person posting a query.
