No. Am little differ from mr.sheik's words. Sorry author that much easyly you can't file a case against some one govt officer. You have to issue notice with 60 days time.. After that only you can proceed.. Then about criminal proceedings you may file a private complaint before the chief judicial magistrate.
rahul pal (Querist) 02 June 2011
sir according to you we put a FIR against him but the police man is demanding Rs10,000/- to deal with ,now sir tell us what to do. Do FIR require fee so high as i told you the person is doing such task because he has relative in police...........sir one more thing i want to ask we have bought it by NOTARY method,i want to ask that ,is notary related issue are only handled by police thana or we can make complain to higher authority for same.
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 02 June 2011
Mr.Tom, for initiating case against a govt officer in his personal capacity there is no need to send notice.

Mr.Rahul, if you have any problems with the local station, you can complain to the superior officer.
rahul pal (Querist) 03 June 2011
sir i want to know that NOTARY(sorry if wrongly spelled)type of land authorization problems is only control by local' "thana" or can be undertaken (problems) by higher authority as well i.e. we can talk to higher authority for such disputes or not please help?.....also do FIR ing require a fee to take action????
