Sir,
My brother & mother is been booked under the above sections on flase claiming of 1LK dowry and abuse.Police have advised her to mention the dowry other wise case will not have any stand.
My brother was NRI and came back to india to settle with her, since marriage Oct 2008 she stayed only for 14 days on collectively and remaining days she was with her parents. She has been filed case oct 2009 once my brother is she came after 1 month and took al the gifts and went off, My brother & mother was arreted and come out on bail. As he is unemployed now he has only property of House in Chennai. will they claim any thing or how we act to avoid such coomplications and we want them to bring justice and prove their falty.

first of all i would like make it clear that our society and our legal system always lean on the side of female.so it is better for you to settle the matter mutually. it is for clear that you will definetly have to pay her the maintenance money.
