Sick industrial companies act

Dear All,

Sick Industrial Companies Act is not applicable to SSI.

After introduction of MSME Act (which replaced SSI) does the exemption under SICA applies to MSME as well ?

Dear Sir,
The Act does not apply to cooperative societies and units owned by a trust
. The SICA does not apply to "small scale industrial undertakings or ancillary industrial undertakings" as defined in Section 3(j) of the IDR Act
