Hi All,

What is the minimum wages under Shop and establishment act.

To fix minimum wages is a state subject. There is no wage prescribed as such in any Shop and Establishment Act. Minimum wage in different vocation is notified by the appropriate government from time to time depending upon inflation. You can look for latest notification of the concerned state Government in this regard availble in every labour office.
