Dear sir
I sold my Indica car one month ago. I've got the delivery note of my vehicle from the purchaser and the sale receipt. The new buyer is yet to register the vehicle in his name. Inspite of repeated requests he is delaying it. How can I intimate the sale to the RTO? I want this to be done early as I require the legal sale of car validated for claiming the Exchange bonus from the new car purchase.

issue legal notice to the purchaser to transfer the rc within a particular period.if he fails to do so report the matter the rto b y registered post.

Dear Mr.Kalyansundram,
For the purposes of effecting sale of any vehicle usually one has to get executed Forms 29 & 30 and if you have recieved the signed copies of these forms you can produce the same for claiming exchange bonus as change in rc can only be on basis of these forms.

transfer of vehicle is owner's libilty, the sale receipt has no velue because there is a specific provision to transfer d vehicle in r.t.o.
if any crime has been made by d vehicle then d slip can't help u.
so go to the police station with the complaint dt new buyer is not tranfering the owner-ship and if ay crime has made- out dn u will not responcible.
if u not transferd yr vehicle proper way u wll responcible.
however u want bonus dn there is no need to tranfer doc. only proof of ownership of old vehicle is sufficiant.
