Gratuity

Sir, my uncle was a permanent employe in kerala state road transport corporation. He retired from service in 2008 with 25 years of service .at the time of his retirement the authority wrote in his pension book the gravity amount Rs 250000 but till now they dont gave the amount.is there is any remedy in law to help him?

Your uncle has to approach the controlling authority under the gratuity act for action against the employer for payment of gratuity.

ur uncle should go through proper chanel. bcoz in ths typ of case genrly h.c. gv direction to come after all hearted efforts through proper chenal.

Issue a notice to KSRTC and the authority responsible for payment of gratuity under gratuity act. Even if you do not receive payment, they you may approach High Court.
