  • Murthy says : ancestral property
After the death of my client's grand father and mother, my client's father and his two brothers partitioned the ancestral properties of land and building in the year 1958 through court compromise. At present my client has six elder sisters and one brother. At the time of partition of ancestral property in the year 1958 my client's two elders were only born. My client's father has given the property to all children through 'Will'. Kindly clarify whether my client's father has right on ancestral property as 'self-acquired property'.
