Dear Raj kumar, Please help me. I just signed a cheque for rupees 100000 as an advance and given to a developer to buy a plot for rs.367000. For this, he has given me an agreement on Rs.20 stamp with notary from Faridabad. Please let me know if this is valid in case of court case. Thanks

MY mcop case finished by settlement in lok adalat on nov 23/2013....Judgement issued to insurance company...company has produced claim amount cheque to court...My question is if i file a petition to retrieve my cheque how many days it will take to collect my cheque...what will be further procedure? pls guide me

I got married on April 25th 2012.i had issues with my wife from starting because she didn't take care of my parents, use to fight with reasons and many other problem. On Dec 6th 2012 she called her brother and went back to her home forcefully.we tried a lot to stop her but she didn't cared. She is staying there till now which is more than a year and when I asked her for divorce she is saying to pay her a huge amount or she will file a false dowry case on me and my family.when I am trying to call her home she is threatening that she will cut her hand and blame it on us.please help me and let me know how can I get a divorce from her. Now some People are saying to file a RCR and then go for Divorce because it will lower the effect of 498a.Please help and with detail information.

Hello, My Grandfather purchased some land in 1965 in Gujarat. He was not farmer then. But he purchased one farm and was doing farming. After that my father received that land by inheritance and his name is in 7 x 12 also. Now one person is claiming that my father cannot be considered a farmer because my Grandfather purchased land in 1965 and my grandfather was not farmer. My question is , is this true? If not then can you give me any reference of law? Thank you.
