Sir, we had a residential house in the registered name of my grand father in which we have a electric meter in the same name . after his and my grand mother death my father and uncle sold the property but forgot to change the name of electric meter. bills for electric meter are paid till date. my query is liability of electric bill is of the registered owner or the person who is consuming the electric.

i want to know if i am keeping paying guest in my house & allotted him a separate room. what legal document i should prepare & is that compulsory to register it ? Thank you akki

Hi Mr. Raj... Can u tell me approx duration for declaration procedure? How much time court wil take? One of the builder approached us who have good contacts are ready to take this land for development and as consideration he wil give us 2000 sq ft carpet area. 1st he with the help of his contacts and advocate he wil add our name to 7/12 and property card (Without adverse possession procedure). But for the same he asked us to enter in to an agreement with him that we are giving him the rights for development. Do you find anything mischief here? Because I think this can creat any trouble for us in future.
