hi , i do have a query here regarding succession certificate . I do have my residence in Lucknow city . My parents have passed away and i have no sibling , thus one and only legal heir of the all property . I want to know the procedure of applying for succession certificate(someone told me that court takes 3% of total cost of house as fees). I have already registered my name in Nagar Nigam for the purpose of house tax(will this only suffice if in future i want to dispose my house ? ).

We are the pattedars for 4 acers we sold to Mr. X , but he didn't register that and he sold that land to Mr.Y.But X will done the 50b patta to Y for 2 acers.Since 15 years Y will be in position.Now we are asking mr.Y surrender the land or register them.is it right way?pls give a suggetion

Hello , I seek your valuable opinion as you seem to be the top rated lawyer on this forum. My problem is as below: i joined an MNC in the month of Aug 2010. I had to sign a service agreement which said if i leave the company within one year I will have to pay an amount of 20000/- to the company. When the agreement was signed the HR refused to give me a copy of the service agreement. After 8 months, I resigned in mid May 2011 after serving a notice period of 1.5 months (out of 2 months). In my Full and final settlement the amount deducted for breaking the Service agreement was shown as50000/-. I found this absolutely shocking and requested the Service agreement for legal verification, and yet again the company refuse to give me the copy but the HR did give me the document for reading purpose. There were certain things that i realised: 1) my signature was there only on the last page of the document while the rest of the pages that mentioned the service agreement clauses did not bear my signature. 2)till the end the HR refused to give me the copy of the doc. Am I not suppose to get a copy of the document. Can the initial pages of the document be tampered. What should I do to acquire the copy of the service agreement. your suggestion means a lot and is very valuable. Please help me sort this matter. Sarita kamal mail: sarita.kamal82@gmail.com

hi, marriage of my girl friend got cancelled because i revealed everything about us our relationship to her would be husband just a day before marriage and grooms family took decision to cancel this marriage.My question is family of girl could take any legal step against me???if yes what step they could take against me? It was decided between us that she would take divorce after sometime of her marriage but as the days getting closer to her marriage her attitude totally changed and a day before her marriage she said that she would never come to me.Finally i decided to reveal all facts about us to her would be husband and i did and marriage got cancelled.Yesterday i recieve a call from girls family member that they would take some legal action and police complaint like sexual harrasment etc against me.Plz advice sir what am i suppose to do now.
