ours is a 40 year old building. Recent structural audit says it is in sound condition. 3/4 members are forcing for redevelopment on grounds that they dont have money for repairs. what should be my course of action? Rohit says : Flat booking cancellation
Hi sir, I have booked a flat under construction for a sum of 2 L and I received the receipt of it, I have got an allotment letter for the same. There is no where mentioned as "Terms and condition" nor i have signed in any documents till now. Now i want to cancel the booked flat and the builder says that u have to pay a sum of 50 thousand and that the remaining amount will be returned only after 60-90 days.He asked me to fill the cancellation form but i refused to fill it. Is it true that the builder can demand ? They say this only at the time i went to cancel. Shall i move to consumer court? Please advise on this.
