My company have a head office in Lucknow and branch office in Mathura...client based in mathura issued work orders in my company's name addressing our head office lucknow and branch office mathura along with the post dated cheques. Cheques were presented in our bank situated at lucknow Now all the cheques are bounced and we have sent a legal notice to the client through our lucknow based advocate. infact the 15 days time for the payment is over and i have to file a case. Gentlemen, Please tell me where should i file the case under n.i act of 138? obviously coz i live in lucknow so it wud be easy for me to fight the case in lucknow. Plz if possible answer my query with references to apex court's decision in this issue. thanking you ashish agarwal (businessman, lucknow)

i am staying in ghatkopar mumbai in pagdi system from 1976, and all rent recipt till date with me . Landlord owner died in 2004 and his son and brother sold property to builder for development and from 4 brother one brother is live and has put case of 1/3 right in property .we has recd notice when this people sold property and rent is to paid to builder and he is collecting rent 6 year .and 2nd notice recd from brother of land lord say ing this cousins have cheated him and sold property .so may also loss of ur house .As i am an tenent and paying regular rent why shld i suffer between them.WHO IS CALLED of property builder who collect rent or person who has filed case.as builder is not communicating as several time contacted here for problem what can i do .and what right an tenant recd during development of building (addition area + corpus fund + rent )from builder .and if any damage is happen in buildng and life goes who is responsible builder or person who has filed case.Kindly let me know waiting for reply from experts . thanking you

Dear sir, This is S P Goel, from Delhi 9810101999, my wife lodged a petition in Karkardooma court under Domestic Violence Act, and demanding Rs 45 lacs and Rs 15000 per month, my monthly income is Rs 8000 from Interest, I am unemployed, house is in my name, judge advised me not to sell in first hearing. My elder son lives separate in Delhi , in ICICI bank Rs 18 lacs pa , earlier he was helping, she left house on 20.10.2010 younger son is a student. Respectable honourable Sir, My friend is facing a 498A case charge on him just within 3 months of marriage, I was his close friend he stayed with me 3years before the marriage, She has included ,y nmae as my friends uncle in the 498A case. I am not his uncle or relation by any means I am only his friend I would like to know is 498A case included me stands or can i file a case on her to draging me into it . Your esteem advice looked forward in this regard

my husban has got ex parte divorce decree in that matter sumannce was served to me by court belif but i didnot apear in court as my husband told that he has not filed any case for divorce & till april 2010 we meet each other on 23 dec 2009 court passed ex parte order i came to know about order in feb 2010 by post i made a set aside aplication my adv didnot filed dely condonation aplication & my aplication rejected by same court my husband remarried with another girl on 19 may 2010 can i get any relif in set aside aplication he he made contradictory statment
