There is a Case going on. Medical Death Certificate issued by the hospital does not have the hospital Registration No. The Certificate does not mention the Date on which the Medical Death certificate was issued. The Hospital Medical Death Certificate also does not mention the Date of Birth of The Person on whose name the Medical Death Certificate was issued.
There is a Municipal Corporation Death Certificate on the name of the same above person. The Municipal Corporation Death Certificate which is given in High Court the name of the person is spelt wrongly. The persons father's name is also spelt wrongly. Which Municpal Corportaion has issued the certificate is also not mentioned. Which department has issued the certificate is not mentioned. The nationality and the permanent residential address of the person on whose name the Death certificate is issued is not mentioned. The Stamp/Seal and the name of the issuing Authority is not mentioned is not there in the Municpal Death Certificate.

There are some specific format for a death certificate or a post mortem report And there are some specific information or datas ,which must appear in the certificate. If it is not issued in the prescribed format and if the required informations or datas are not available in the death certificate or a post mortem report, it has no evidencery value at all. But you must point out those lacunas at the time of cross examination of the medical officer or issuing authority if it is produced in a criminal case trial. If you failed to point out those lacunas at the time of cross examination you shall not be able to challenge the authenticity of the certificates at a later stage.
