Dear All,

Is it necessary for an employee to get insured even if he/she is getting benefits as family member of his/her parents as they are anyway registered under ESIC?

Since it is not the employee who has been registered himself with the ESIC but he is only getting the benefits through others, so after coming into employment, he is to be registered with the ESIC if he comes under the purview of the Act to have benefits petaining to contributions. But if he has already got the separate registration No. , he can use the same for future.
