Can an Existing Employee be given responsibility of Additional Director over and above his existing responsibilities?

If yes please give procedure for same

Defintely, rules provide for combination of appointments. Had you mentioned the name of the organisation, I could also have pointed out towards the rules consisting of the process.

In the meeting of Board of directors, additional appointment could be appointed.

Additional directors shall hold office only up to the date of the next annual general meeting of the company.

Section 260 of the Companies Act empowers board to appoint additional director.
