Is it legal for me to marry my father's mother's sister's son's daughter? Btw I'm from Tamil Nadu.

If custom accepts

I do understand that. But are there any legal implications for the said marriage. Can it be considered legal?

That may be. But she is not my first cousin and her lineage as well gotra are not the same and this situation has not been directly addressed in the Hindu marriage act and not listed as a sapinda relationship. So can there be a chance of a legitimate marriage?

Legality is different and for Registration of marriage such relationship is not shown in application form.

But in Hindu family, acceptability by other family members is important, and there are not much strict restrictions from mother's side relatives in south, as they do not belong to Sagotra.

It appears that there are deeper facts. What is the real issue?

I and the girl are in love but to put forth this proposal to our parents and relatives, I needed concrete facts that this marriage is possible and that the law does not disapprove of it. I also need to know if the it can be registered as a Hindu marriage.
