Purchased property on main road 23 years ago with compound wall and 5 mtr left for road widening. At the time of purchase was informed that a strip of land purchased from neighbour for which there is a seperate sale deed n that area is within the compound wall. The strip was acquired 53 years ago. When applied for resurvey to add the extra strip in the I&14 form n demarcate or modify the survey plan layout was informed that the extra strip is not on my name even though RTI report states that mango tree in the strip is on our same survey No. The old owner say they had applied for resurvey & amalgamation many years ago after purchase of the strip. How can I convince survey dept about the above n from where can I obtain details of amalgamation by previous owners 50+ years ago ? Your advise would be highly appreciated. Thanks

You can take the assistance of an experienced lawyer in the local, produce all your relavant papers pertaining to the property you refer including the strip of property.
