My client had got selected in Sutherland call center in customer support service as a trainee, she finished her training period but wasn't selected in the exam conducted thereafter. In her appointment letter for the trainee period she was asked to give 3 months notice. Since she was not selected in the interview to make her a permanent employee, is she required to give the notice. Those who weren't selected are sent out and their services are no longer required by the company. She was asked to pay back her last month salary. Is she required to pay back.
