1.Local Government Punjab was advertised 682 numbers of vacancies last year 1st July 2015 in various departments of Local Bodies department including SDO, Executive Officer, Sanitary Inspector, Senior assistant, Junior Engineers, Building Inspectors, Town Planners, Draftsman. The exams for the aforesaid vacancies was held on 7th,8th, 14th and 15th of November 2015 and its result/merit list was declared online by Local government on 17th of December 2015. The Exam was conducted by Punjab University Chandigarh.
2. I have also applied in the same advertisement and selected as Junior Engineer.
3. After receiving the complaints of paper leak for the post of Sub Divisional Engineer only, Thereafter Secretary General Admin Punjab issued an notification on 16/02/2016 to hold the whole recruitment process and the inquiry handed over to vigilance beurro.
4. These complaints was only found correct for SDO Post by Vigilance buerro and one person is arrested.
5. Some selected candidates met with Secretary General Admin for clarification but he replies that the whole recruitment process will cancel.
6. So now till date there is no notification issue from the State Government to cancel/Continue the process.
7. So my queries are as follows.
a. Is whole recruitment will be cancelled due to SDO paper Leak.
b. Can we send any legal notice regarding joining of rest of the posts in the same advertisement.
c. Any previous judgements regarding similar to this case.
