Seniority

The first list of candidates joined in February 2016 and the merit list of general candidates is stopped on 59% and below is the reserve candidates whose merit list stopped on 45% . I join through waiting list on January 2017 with the merit of 58.75 marks but my seniority is fixed below reserve candidates all candidates are joined through one exam and one advertisement is there is any general order of supreme court which is based on merit list after waiting list candidates joins. Can I claim my seniority after 7 years

If you face any problem with regard to your seniority issue, you may make a representation to the competent authority through proper channel in writing and await their response.

If you are not satisfied with the reply then you can approach CAT for remedy provided you feel that you are well within the law and entitled to the said privileges as per procedures of service law as well as the regulations of the authority concerned.

The roaster points, appointment conditions etc. are to be verified to form an opinion.  You are aggrieved with the merit lists and your appointment procedure. You first appeal to your HOD and then proceed with the filing of a case at CAT.

You prima facie appear to have a good case, if gpovt/PSU employee.  Please furnish full facts.  You have not posted as to who the employer is
