Can manager or supervisors be charged for making impossible demands & overtime without compensation?

1.       In a KPO (Back Office) of a bank where I used to work, we were given tasks which were physically impossible for a human being to complete them.

a.       For e.g. we were given only 15 to 20 minutes or maximum half an hour to note down the check details which have been given for forwarding the request for stop payment and processing more steps irrespective of whether there are few 10 or 15 cheques or whether they are more than one hundred. I believe that even if we feed these information on the Computer and try to forward them then it would also get hanged.

b.      In another situation, a haughty woman called the Branch and asked the subordinate to enter the details quickly as interest needs to be paid. When the subordinate said that there are more than one hundred entries so at such a short notice details cannot be entered. To this the woman rebuked the subordinate.  

2.       Second issue is that we often get blamed without the Supervisor and Managers investigating the situation to check that it was whose mistake.

a.       Once a set of documents of two separate customers were sent together by mistakenly getting attached with each other and the Dravidian Supervisor without investigating the case and collecting evidences started blaming me for the same. After the documents came back from branch office and it was proved that it was my subordinate who mistakenly attached those documents and not me and that Supervisor from Chennai baselessly blamed me, the Supervisor just said ‘sorry’ and moved on.

b.      In another case, once the Scanner got hanged and I told my female colleague that the document cannot be scanned because it is showing that it has hanged when she was saying that I am slow at work. I told her to come and check for herself that there is an error shown in the Computer that the Scanner has hanged, she haughtily said that I must have deliberately put a piece of paper in the inner part of the scanner to make it look like an error and later taken it out. I asked her to verify with my subordinates that whether I have done this or not who were present with me at that time but she did not verify that.

c.       One more incident happened where I was blamed without proof and investigation. The same haughty woman called the Branch said that I had not mentioned that a transaction number of a scanned document in the Computer was not to be forwarded, whereas I had explained to my female colleague who had blamed me in the above, to mention it because my Manager had instructed me to not to write anything on printed paper and that haughty woman was gossiping on the telephone and I had a deadline to meet. However, she did not inform her and she blamed me for the transaction being forwarded by mistake.

d.      I got a memo from my superiors without any evidences attached with the memo.

3.       After few weeks, my Supervisor asked me to give my resignation else she would fire me from her own will. I asked her to give evidence regarding that but she did not do so.

 

I know that Supervisors and Managers should be respected but a subordinate should be rational at the same time.

 

Pls mention the acts and section of laws which can help me or those Supervisors, colleagues or Managers.

If you are facing a humiliating situation and are being ill treated or being harrassed and your concerrns are not heard or addressed you may write down all your grievances with evidences wherever you have any, submit it as a representation to the higher officer of your organization through proper channel and send a advance copy to the authorities directly also if you apprehend that your supervisor may not forward your grievances application to the higher authority.

You don't have to resign your job under pressure and you can approach court of law if you are terminated from the services.

The section and act of law will be taken care by your advocate hence you concentrate on your problem alone.

Submit your problem / grievance(s) to head of the organisation through proper channel.

Be specific to the issue (legal only) if there is some thing pinching you.

Too long a story for consideration and obligation.

Leave it Uncle. Do not try to be an attention seeker or a hero.

Perhaps you are not aware that AI ChatGPT has been invented because you are too old and must be still living in your past. It does not make baseless excuses like you that the story is long so it will not assist me. It is long but easy to understand because there are comprehensive details.

 

Do not teach me about specification. I asked you that which acts and sections can be used against them for their behavior. I did not ask suggestion from you that what I should do. However, you and that Dravidian started telling me that how to deal with these circumstances by giving your personal opinions. 

 

"My lawyer will take care of acts and sections", then why I have asked this question on LCI? Is it just for no reason?

 

You also need lessons on English. "Too long a story"... lol

If you are knowing everything then there was no necessity for you to approach this forum seeking opinions from expert lawyers.

In the given situation, it can be undersood that you don;t require any assistance because you are more knowledgeable than any other expert lawyer from this forum.

You can solve your legal issues with the assistance of  your  AI chat GPT itself.

Do not tell me that what is the necessity. There cannot be just one reason to approach this forum but there can be several reasons. The reason for me to approach this forum was that I wanted to test that which lawyer is capable for handling my case. If AI and ChatGPT were allowed to debate and contest in the court then I would not just refrained from approaching this forum but I would have also debated on court by myself and with the assistance of AI and ChatGPT instead of wasting time and money by hiring lawyers like you and approaching this forum. 

 

I am grateful that you think I am smarter than you but I repeat again that according to the laws of this nation only those who have a law degree can debate in the court on behalf of their clients and that is why I am still seeking assistance otherwise I would not have wasted my time and money which you are unaware of.

 

By the way, even I have not personally invited you to give your reply or become a hero for me. You keep sticking your nose in every question.

 

It is not just about the money that you are saying that your services are free. It is about the quality of answer too. If cold drink is available for Rs. 40 and poison is available for free, and you are given choice between the two, will you take and drink poison because it is available for free? HAHAHA!! LOL!! :D. These South Indians have a very baseless logic.
