Wife case in caw cell

My wife filled a complaint in caw cell on 3 April. I have had attended 4 meeting and wife hell bent on registering the case. Caw cell ppl wants my parents to come there in next meet. I do not want my old parents to go and do a deal with a lady who refuse to stay with me. Caw cell IO says if my parents dont come they will refer the case in mediation.they took it in written from me that I will bring my parents on next meeting. My queries 1. Is it bad if my parents don't go to caw cell. 2. Why instead of FIR they mention mediation center.
