I've been in a mess. I am still unmarried. I am in love with this girl since last 4 yrs. Though we never discussed about marriage before. Recently I told about this girl to my parents and they were not very happy about it. I am trying to arrange a meeting between our parents and want my parents whole hearted approval for this marriage. However in case of refusal of my parents I would like to end this relation with the girl and marry as per my parents wishes.
When I communicated this to her that my parents approval is important she got very angry and started threatening that she will do something extreme if she is rejected. By extreme she was hinting at commiting suicide. I am extremely scared due to this and have been living under constant stress. I feel I am being forced into a marriage by the threat of suicide. What should I incase my parents do not accept and I dont want to go ahead with this marriage? Please advice.
