The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department has uploaded details of lands owned by temples on its official website. We cannot do unless govt. provides G.O. in your case.

A property of Temple is the property of the Trust which is Governing the temple. And the trustees of the temple trust are not the owners of the property of the temple.

Although the trustees can sell / lease the property which belongs to the trust. But you need to get the permission from the office of the Charity Commissioner by giving an application and with justified reason to sell the said property.

Remember.. You can sell the said property only for the need of money for the welfare of the Temple. And the money you get out of that transaction has to be used only for the welfare of the temple.
