we have seen a flat in hyderabad, have requested the builder for the bank approval and affidavit for mortgage, builder is saying flat planning to buy is not a mortgage flat with the copy of affidavit , however when we searched in the GHMC website with the permit number, flat is showing as mortgage, can you please provide advice in this case - whether to proceed or taking any precautionary measure to purchase this flat?

Stay away from buying it and from such sellers.
