At any stage in the High Court, it's discretionary power under s 482 CrPC that court applies in appropriate cases only.

I have a offence registered against me in motor accident case. The victim's are ready to take their charges back. What can be done in this case?

Dr J C Vashista (Advocate)     20 February 2019

Whether the accident is injury or fatal ?

If it is fatal accident the High Court shall throw away quashing petition.

All the victim's involved are not seriously injured. Only a single person has suffered a fracture but it will not result in any sort of permanent disability, paralysis to that person. But it will take a months time for him to recover.
