Order against wrong party.

What is the remedy when an Order is passed against the holding company of a subsidiary (wholly owned) when the subsidiary is actually liable?

The said Order is by a consumer forum against the holding company. The holding company and the subsidiary were earlier a single company when the complaint was initiated but subsequently subsidiary was created during pendency of the case in the forum. The Order of the Forum was made against the holding company since the complaint petition contained the holding company's name.

kindly throw some light on the remedy available with the holding company and on how to make the subsidiary liable now.

Thank you.

A company which was once holding another company as a subsidiary must be a big company. You would have access to eminent lawyers. Why come here for advice?
