Notice period on employment acts

Is it necessary to work on notice period when the employee has medical problems?

It is not Necessary to serve notice period 

If you have authorized medical certificate

If I have authorized medical certificate, but employer demand me to serve 30 days, if I can't work then pay 30days salary amount to them. Is it based on act? Can I refuse to pay by law?

If you have authorized medical certificate,

Employeer don't have any right to demand serve

No employeer in indian law have right to demand money from employee for notice period 

You can boldly refuse 

Only he can trouble you settelement money (like bonus, EL, etc)
