My husband threatning of divorce

Hello Sir,

I feel of myself to be one of the biggest victim of Marital Relationship.

Mine was a arranged marriage. One the day of our first marriage anniversary My husband was provoked by my inlaws to beat me. After he did so, my parents in law decided that we should live apart.

Being in love as well as high shock of the entire incident I did not go for any legal steps.

After few months, I understood that my husband flew to Europe from his work place TCS on an assignment. He had stopped contacting me. I did not know his contact number, nor his address. I could only send few couriers to his Mumbai office address. Even his office HR, being asked on this did not help me with his contact details.

Now, after deserting me like this without any contact detail from him, he is planning to divorce me on the basis of Desertion from my end ( which is just an absolute false statement ).

I also went for help to my inlaws house, where I got married. They denied to let me in. More over, now even they have left that house and I do not know their new address. It's only from one of their neighbours, I have come to know, that my Father in Law has planned for applying divorce against me right after the completion of 2 years on the basis of Desertion. They also have got all my Stri dhan along with them.

Can you please help me, as I do not want to be divorced ?

Kind Regards,

1. Hire locally a lawyer via reference or one from LCI database after due diligence.
2. File RCR (S. 9 HMA); restitution of your conjugal rights.
3. Use FIL address as well as his office address as C/o to serve Notice.

OR

3. 1 Simply file divorce under mental cruelty and desertion from bed and board and seek interim maintenance r/w litigation expenses + S. 27 HMA for return of stridhan + S. 25 HMA for alimony and restart your life all keept in Civil matrimonial manageable domains.

Also make up your mind one final moment before Chamber discussion and sign-up a Vakalatnama; why would a educated wife + beaten and battered from day 1 wife + kicked out of matrimonial home wife + deserted by her husband wife + ex communicated daughter -in- law prefer to go back to her matrimonial home and into the arms of her husband ?

Are you missing making wise decision for your self?

However, choices are all yours as you are still his legally wedded wife.
