oh great news. how can a dowry harassment victim die of heart attack?

 Plz. see the following,

Dowry death toll rises as women shy away from invoking law.

THE number of dowry dowry (dou`rē), the property that a woman brings to her husband at the time of the marriage. The dowry apparently originated in the giving of a marriage gift by the family of the bridegroom to the bride and the bestowal of money upon the bride by  deaths is rising but the cases lodged under the Dowry Prohibition Act are far lower in comparison.

Women continue to be discouraged from lodging dowry harassment complaints against in- laws.

Social stigma Social stigma is severe social disapproval of personal characteristics or beliefs that are against cultural norms. Social stigma often leads to marginalization.

Examples of existing or historic social stigmas can be physical or mental disabilities and disorders, as well as  and family pressure prevent women from lodging dowry harassment complaints until it's too late.

3.  the National Crime Record Bureau, the number of dowry deaths across the country rose from 7,618 in 2006 to 8,093 in 2007.

But the number of cases filed for dowry harassment was 4,504 in 2006 and 5,623 in 2007.

Women and child development minister
Krishna Tirath Krishna Tirath (born 13 March, 1955) is a member of the 1st Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Karol Bagh constituency of Delhi and is a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) political party.

She began her political career as a M.L.  also admitted on the International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women, November 25, that dowry harassment cases were on the rise despite laws.

Ministry sources said they were working on a proposal to have dedicated protection officers for enforcing women related laws, such as the law against domestic violence, the Dowry Prohibition Act and the Child Marriage Prohibition Act.

The number of cases registered do not reflect the true menace that dowry is. In Haryana, for instance, while only eight cases were registered under the Dowry Prohibition Act in 2007, the number of dowry deaths was 265.

In Chhattisgarh, the number of cases lodged under the dowry law was only five, while the number of dowry victims was 100.

" It's not just that women are discouraged to lodge dowry complaints. Several policemen are not aware of the law. In fact, the Dowry Prohibition Act is one of the most underused laws," said Vrinda Grover, lawyer and activist.

" If dowry complaints were registered, so many lives could have been saved," she added.

In Delhi, the number of dowry deaths rose from 114 in 2005 to 137 in 2006 and 138 in 2007.

Other states that have seen a rise in dowry deaths include
Uttar Pradesh Uttar Pradesh (`tär prä`dĭsh), state (2001 provisional pop. 166,052,859), 92,804 sq mi (240,363 sq km), N central India. The capital is Lucknow.  -- from 1,798 in 2006 to 2,076 in 2007; Rajasthan from 394 in 2006 to 439 in 2007 and Maharashtra from 387 in 2006 to 436 in 2007.

The dowry menace was highlighted by Union home minister P. Chidambaram, who said at a seminar on the International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women: " It is a myth that dowry is present only in certain sections of the society. It is prevalent in every section of the society."

CAN ANY BODY ON THIS FORUM TELL HOW CAN A DOWRY /498A Victim die of  heart attack? another false case reported by aishwarya . if a lady dies her parents simply register police complaint to earn money. why dont they sell them dirty ppl.

during preganancy there are several hormonal / cardiovascular system changes in body which lead to increased work load on heart. only if the heart has some disease it can lead to Myocardial Infarction ( common language Heart attack).

thsi case does not stand in a court of law if postmort4em report is correct. wat ever so called neo feminists may say its a false case.

if u want to counter above discuss my reply  with a cardiologist only then dare reply.

@ avnish

thr are many women who die during pregnancy yearly in india...but it doesnt mean that all their parents book their inlaws and husband always.....its only when they are aware that cruelty was meted before death that will take such a step....if daughter give a good report about inlaws/husband,the parents wud stand with them(mainly the husband) in grief...not book them..this is indian tradition, which u being a lady dont seem to be aware of...

parents are already distressed after losing their daughter...they will have no patience and perseverence to go to police stations in such a time....they cannot think of money extortion when they are deeply upset...they will go to police station only when they have v.strong reasons,as police stations are not a pleasnt place to be in

u said its another false case reported by mehow r u sure all the news i reported are false?r u a detective? the same time u say that the real cause of death can only be found out after post martem....y r u contradicting these two facts wen u urself are unsure wot exactly she died of??

for ur info, the lady is 32 yrs.....

i dont know ur education level but heart attacks are no more ltd. just to people above 40s....people as young as 25 yrs are getting them nowadays due to stress.......the lady is more in age,ie,32.....

she must have been harassed mentally a lot before n during her pregnancy or u never know must be abused just at the time of her death  in such an inhuman & traumatic way that she may have got instant heart attack and died.....

so dont pass inhuman comments on a family which must be under a deep grief already,if u have a conscience and a woman's heart

discuss my reply  with a cardiologist only then dare reply

wow...wot a refined language u have...i pity ur sister inlaw against whom u must have used such threatening & intimidating language and dats y she was forced to file cases....i hv seen ur other threads also whr u call women prostitutes,beggars,etc.....u r also a wot do u have to say now?

these are deeds of people whu want to sell ashes of their daugter to get gold. i am pretty sure about my reply , i just pity ur education level. a 32 years lady cannot have haert attack unless her heart is compromised by some disease. dare reply only after discussing with a cardiologist, u will get reply why i said so. this case does not stand in a court of law.
