How to issue notice of transfer petition to opposition?

We have filed a transfer petition (section 24 cpc) for transfer to another Court and the Judge has passed order to issue notice to opposition. One of the advocates present said that the court had a process serivce which would issue the notice and I just had to pay a fee. 1.Can someone pls share more details on this court procedure? 2.Is it done through Court or do we have to do it? 3. If so, is there some format to be followed?
