Caught drinking in public, fined by court , affec

I was caught by police for drinking in public and was taken to police station and was examined medically and later some one signed for my bail and I was asked to appear in court next day. I hired one lawyer and was fined 40 rupees and was let off. After 2 years of this incident I applied for passport from different place and got it. But case against me was at my permanent address and now I am preparing for government jobs so in police verification will I have any problem or am I disqualified for govt job. Plz enlighten on private sector also.

Hope you have kept the copy of complaint, said bail, decision by court, receipt o fine paid.

If not try to obtain from same PS or pursue RTI route or take help of same lawyer.

While applying for jobs don’t leave any column blank  or conceal anything in any column or post false information in any document e.g; job application, affidavit etc…..

Keep copies of all documents submitted by you and POD.

That is all you must do till any decision in your case is given by recruiter govt or private.

The recruiter may shrug it off as petty offence or take call on it.

If you have not concealed or tendered false information you have the scope to approach court of law and seek relief.

The court can note if you concealed or you revealed exact information as asked, in all documents provided to you and submitted by you.
