Whether MOU is legal

Under Indian Law, under what circumstances, can an MOU be considered as a legal document?

MOU is always a legal document and theres no controversy on the same. but enforceabilyt of the same depends upon several other factors like to what extent the transaction has been done or if consideration or part payment paid etc.

consideration need not be "monetary" always, it may be benefits received in business as well. but i totally agree that enforceability will always depend upon the facts of every instant case

certainly mou is a legal document and used as a letter of intent basically and its enforceability depends on defined text covering all the four corners i.e, consideration etc. if the mou is well defined in all terms it will be binding on the parties to the mou.

I agree with my learned members advise.

all executed MOU is legal document in the eye of law, no courts will reject MOU.
