What are the rules?

I want to know what are exact legal rules for parking charges at the shopping malls in Mumbai, Thane & other parts of Maharashtra?

Up to INR 30 is acceptable but most of them charge beyond INR 50 which is more than the state toll charges

To my knowledge, there are no rules in force. The matter has been taken up in a Writ Petition before the Kerala High Court. At the admission stage, the Court had orally observed that charging of parking fee by shopping malls is, prima facie, illegal.Many a stake holder has since intervened in the matter. The final decision is yet to be pronounced.
