i want to have some information regarding mobile call record details. right now, i am facing a trial of IPC 498a & 306, and dowry act. the allegations were quite common that i used to beat my sister in law & have slaped her during navaratra also. now the thing is that i was not present at the time of incident nor particularly in navaratra. i have told the IO to check for mobile call details. but as usual police had not investigated. now i can only prove my innocence through my absent; and my absent can only be proved by my call detail records. now i have to request the court to take step forward and seek call detail record from the mobile operator. but i don't know that For how much time the operators do maintain the call detail records in their server ? and under which TRAI regulation act, they does this? i want call details from JUNE-2012 to DECEMBER-2012. plz. help me out with this. plz. give me your valuable suggestions.
