I purchased resale flat in mumbai last year 2015 vide registered sale agreement in august. However, due to my unnecessary trust on the owner.. previous balance of property tax was not paid by owner. After repeated requests he was not responding. So i lodged FIR against him for economic cheating. Accordingly previous owner paid balance property tax. Now i have transferred ownership on municipal records. Now property tax bill is in my name. Now.. when i called previous owner for taking his signatures on documents for transfer of share certificate in my name.. he is not responding. Is there any alternate provision to transfer share certificate in my name? Please help.
