I will be very happy to receive any advice for my query.
I have Tikona Internet service and placed a disconnection request via e-mailon 18th December,2015. My e-mail was logged against a docket(request) number and thereafter no response. I waited for 72 hrs(their SLA to reply) for their reply. Failing to receive any reply I sent a reminder e-mail to initiate disconnection from 18th Dec and waited another 72 hours yet no reply.
As there was no reply i lodged my issue with Apellate Authority on Dec 25 and again this was lodged against a docket number and got a reply that it will be responded in 30 days. Few days before i got a call from Tikona that my account termination is in progress and will get further call from respective departments. I again spoke to Tikona customer service and they said it is terminated from 18th but are unwilling to confirm via e-mail
I have already disconnected all my cables and stopped using their service since Dec 18th. I have cleared all my dues until now i got.
My concern is
1. I haven't received any written confirmation that my account is terminated, my worry is they will keep charging me and send further bills
2. They are refusing to collect their equipment from my premises stating it's a company policy that equipment should be with the customer and they will not collect their equipment. I am wondering what kind of policy is that they are refusing to collect their asset.
How can I proceed with completely terminating association with Tikona and relieve me of any liabilities that may arise in future.
