society restricting usage of personal trainers in the gym

Dear all - I am a tenant in a Mumbai residential society and was using the society gym regularly. Recently I hired a personal trainer for the gym and after a few weeks the society committee told me that personal trainers cannot be allowed as it is causing inconvenience to other members. Can the committee put such restrictions as per their own convenience ? What remedies are available for me to resolve this?

It is a public place and the norms and rules meant for utilisation of the public place has to be maintained in the stricter sense, if using a private trainer in the public place has been objected to by the users, you have no choice than to adhere to the rules meant for it.
