Prevention of Money-Laundering Act a totall failure:

We all know that The Prevention of Money – Laundering Act, 2002, is the Political Declaration and Global Programme of Action, that emanated through the General Assembly of the United Nations. But judged from the present day scenario, the Acts is a total failure and has no meaning at all in the context of Indian democracy. Look at the last vote trust in the Parliament where naked display of unaccounted/black money that was brought inside the parliament not by intending Candidate but by the members themselves inside the Parliament, and we could not do anything but to watch the tamasa helplessly remembering the song “Paisa pekho tamasa dekho”:
In this connection I would also suggest the members to go through the case of Peoples Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL) and Anr Vs Union of India and Anr 2003-LNI-0597-SC: “ Where the Supreme Court also spell out the  unpleasant situations” regarding money power and muscles power during elections. See para 118 of the Judgment…… much improved election system is required to be evolved to make the election process both transparent and accountable so that the influence of tainted money and physical force of criminals do not make Democracy a Farce”

In our state just concluded parliamentary Election which was a straight fight between the Congress and the Nagaland Peoples Front, the battle was fought with two sloogans. The Rumours Mill from the Congress camp came out with their wild fire like rumours that the Nagaland Peoples Front MP Candidate shoot a man with his gun shoot and arrested by the Police and is under police custody: Shortly thereafter the Nagaland Peoples Front Rumours Mill came out with their rumours mill's productions that the Congress MP Candidate has been fatally injured in a car accident and taken to Hospital. Judged from all these process of electioneering it is obvious that Democracy is just a farce in India. We have no more value based Democracy but money-power and muscle power and Guns and bombs with rumours that spread like wild fire. We can only say Good Bye Democracy.
