I have been selected in central government job (non defence).
I have been staying in Kolkata for the last 5 years. I came to know from Special Branch that they went to verify my residence at one of the residences where I stayed as paying guest during 2010-2011.
However the landlord has irresponsibly denied that I had stayed there. I do not have any house rent agreement to support as evidence.
This has become a negative in my verification process. The Special Branch then asked me to send to provide them my university marksheets to ascertain my documents.
Please let me know if this negative verification due to my landlord would cause me to lose my job ?
